Education Qualification
The candidate should have passed standard 12 or should have passed standard 12 equivalent examination as per the resolution of the general administration department of the Gujarat government.
Age Limits
The Minimum Age is 18 years and the maximum age is 34 years. Age relaxation in the upper age limits will be applicable for reserved categories are as follow:
- Scheduled Cast (ST): up to 5 years
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): up to 5 years
- SEBC: up to 5 years
- All women candidates will get five years exemption in the upper age limit.
- Women candidates in the reserved category will get a total exemption of 10 years in the upper age limit.

Gujarat Police Constable Bharti Selection process
Physical Ability Test (marks 25)
- Running male: 5000 M (5km) – All male candidates must complete the race in a maximum of 25 minutes.
- Running Female: 1600M – All women candidates will have to complete the race in a maximum of 9 minutes and 30 seconds
- Ex. Service Man Running: 2400M – All ex-servicemen candidates will have to run in a maximum of 12 minutes and 30 seconds.
Written Exam
All the candidates who have passed the Physical Ability Test and Physical Criteria Test or eight times the number of vacancies on the basis of merit, whichever is less, will be called for the written examination.
