Gujarat Vahali Dikri Yojana 2021 – On 2 July 2019, the Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat Government and Finance Minister Nitin Patel presented the annual budget of the state government for the year 2019-20. In this budget, Vahli Dikri Yojana has been launched to promote the birth rates of girls and to stop female feticide. Under this scheme, the scheme has been initiated to ensure that the daughters of poor families of Gujarat are not deprived of education, under which the daughters get ₹ 4000 in Paheli class, ₹ 6000 in the ninth class and daughter age 18 years as incentive money. On getting the help of ₹ 1 lakh.

Vahali Dikri Yojana Objective
Under Vahali Dikari Yojana, the following objectives have been laid down to encourage the birth of daughters, to prevent traumatic murder, to promote the education of girls and to strengthen the place of women in society.
- To promote the birthrate of daughters.
- Reduce dropout evidence in girls’ education and promote education.
- Stopping Child marriage.
- To strengthen the empowerment of daughters/women in society.
Eligibility Criteria of Vahali Dikri Yojana 2021
- All daughters born on or after 2 August 2019 can avail of this scheme.
- At most two daughters in the family can take advantage of this scheme.
- The beneficiary will have to undergo a child regulation operation after the second child.
- The mother’s age should be 18 years or more at the time of the birth of the daughter.
- The annual income of the beneficiary family should be ₹ 2 lakh or less.
- The first son and later two daughters (twins) or more together, all the daughters will get benefit in the exceptional case of birth.

Must fill the application form for Vahali Dikari Yojana. You can get the application form without price from your nearest Anganwadi, CDPO Kacheri, Gram Panchayat, Women and Child Development Rights.
All the information in the application form has to be taken from where she or the woman and child officer will have to submit it on the kacheri. You can also submit the application form to the public service center or Seva Setu.
